Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for skin rejuvenation
The options in the field of aesthetic skin treatment are becoming increasingly diverse. A relatively new and even chemical-free possibility is the so-called vampire lift, namely the application of PRP (platelet-rich plasma).
In this treatment method, blood taken from your vein is centrifuged and thrombocyte-enriched plasma is extracted within a sterile system for reintroduction as a subcutaneous injection. The treatment is generally carried out without the addition of any chemical additives and is therefore extremely low-risk.
Thrombocytes have a high volume of various growth factors. By means of physiological thrombocyte activation, these are released and have a tissue-regenerating effect. The fibroblasts in the tissue are stimulated and the production of elastin and collagen are activated. The production of hyaluronic acid increases, which binds an increasing amount of water and moisture. In addition, their own mesenchymal stem cells are attracted, which additionally accelerate the natural process of tissue generation and collagen development.
The result is an improved skin texture with revitalised skin. The effects last for up to 2 years. In the case of hair loss (effluvium), PRP frequently displays impressive results! Cell regeneration is stimulated at the hair root and has a positive effect on hair loss.
Treatment Procedure
At least three days (optimally 7 days) before beginning PRP therapy, you should not take any aspirin (ASS), Voltaren, Ibuprofen or similar painkillers or medication for rheumatism (NSAID), since they inhibit the blood platelets. Prior to therapy with PRP, blood is extracted and prepared in a special process. The objective is to separate the red blood cells from the blood plasma. In method similar to mesotherapy, it is then possible to directly inject PRP in pure form or enriched with medications, vitamins or trace elements into the scalp or the hair roots with ultrafine needles. Treatment takes about 45 minutes. A follow-up treatment with PRP stabilises and boosts the successful result.

We use the particularly gentle Alexandrit laser for our epilation treatments. This enables nearly painless and permanent hair removal. Undesirable side effects, like spots on the skin, generally do not occur as a result of treatment. The laser sends its light deep down into the hair root. Here it is transformed into heat to cauterize the hair roots. As a result, the roots are no longer able to produce hairs.
Result: A clearly visible effect can be seen after the first treatment. After an average of 5-7 laser treatments, you can expect undesired hair to be permanently removed. Treatment is gentle to surrounding tissue and the top layers of the skin.

Are you considering tattoo removal with laser? Our medical specialists are expert laser therapists and treat tattoos with the Q-switched Nd-YAG- and the Q-switched KTP lasers. During this treatment, the tattoo ink in the skin is destroyed without damaging the surface of the skin. With each treatment, the tattoos become increasingly paler until they finally disappear completely.
Non-professional tattoos are often removed after one to two sessions, while professionally inked tattoos require significantly more laser sessions. Black ink tattoos can be reliably removed while other colours have a higher degree of difficulty. Unfortunately, our technology (still) does not allow us to successfully treat white or very light green tones.

The jet peeling concept is an innovative and especially gentle form of treatment, which combines the processes of deep cleansing, mechanical and chemical peeling, antioxidant protection and dermal hydration in one unique comprehensive process. The result is skin texture that is vitalised and smooth.
An application from aerospace technology is used to achieve this: a gas-water mixture is applied to the skin by pushing it through tiny jets at ultrasonic speed, ultimately gently removing the uppermost layer of dead skin. This process deep-cleans and massages the skin, promoting blood circulation and stimulating lymphatic activity. In a final step, hyaluronic acid and vitamin C are introduced into the deeper skin layers.
Jet peeling is an extremely refreshing elixir, which is suited to every skin type and season. It is an alternative to deep-cleansing microdermabrasion, for those having very sensitive skin.

Anti-ageing and treatment of acne
Acne and blemished skin can be effectively treated with a peeling. There are various types of peelings:
Jet peeling: This deep peel is an innovation from the USA, which is exceptionally gentle, painless and effective. DERMATOLOGIE des WESTENS is now also using jet peeling to treat acne, scars and wrinkles. The application rejuvenates the skin texture in no time, by reducing lines and improving the complexion.
Fruit acid peeling: Fruit acid reduces the cohesion of scaly, dead skin therefore loosening them for easy removal. It has a moisture-regulating effect and stimulates cellular metabolism. Treatments are given bi-weekly over a period of 2 to 3 months. During this time, the concentration of the acid is continuously increased. The treatment is generally well-tolerated and can even be performed during your lunch break. That’s why it is also known as the “lunch peeling”. Fruit acids are particularly effective for patients with acne and pigmenting.
Trichloroacetic acid (TCA): TCA peelings are used for medium-deep and deep peelings. Their application is used to treat wrinkles and extensive pigmentations. The peeling effect is so intense, that you will want to plan a downtime of approx. 1 week. But the result is well-worth it. Generally, 2-4 sessions in intervals of 2 weeks are performed. Local anaesthesia is required, usually in the form of a numbing cream.
Microdermabrasion: This is an alternative to chemical peelings. Innovative state-of-the-art technology enables a particularly gentle and effective mechanical peeling. An extremely fine quartz sand is sprayed on to the skin and immediately removed again by suctioning. This treatment is especially suited for treating discolorations/pigmentations and blemished skin. All types of skin can be treated; even darker complexions and treatment can also be performed during the summer months. Microdermabrasion is an ideal preparation and follow-up treatment for a chemical peeling.
Some additional tips:
- In the shower, massage your upper arms, thighs and buttocks with a body brush, a coarse sponge or a peeling solution. After drying your skin, rub on some lotion or cream containing urea.
- On vacation, you can treat yourself to a completely natural peeling by rubbing your skin with fine beach sand and subsequently creaming the cleaned skin.
