Perspiring is a completely normal and necessary bodily function. It serves to cool or regulate body temperature: The higher the outside temperature, the greater the amount of perspiration consequently produced by the body. Even certain situations, like stress or excitement, can induce perspiration.
While higher temperatures naturally cause increased perspiration in most people, there are around 2.5 million individuals in Germany who perspire heavily even on cooler days. These individuals are also prone to sudden perspiration attacks, which involves secreting greater amounts of perspiration as an immediate response to certain circumstances. This can lead to extremely uncomfortable and even embarrassing moments, sometimes even subjecting sufferers to social isolation.

Microneedling (collagen induction therapy) helps to maintain youthful, fresh-looking skin and significantly improve existing irregularities in the complexion. The specially formed microneedles penetrate the skin and stimulate the skin’s regeneration from deep within the collagen tissue.
Medical microneedling:
This treatment is performed in the practice under local anaesthesia with the objective of treating visible signs of skin ageing, stretch marks and acne scars.
Cosmetic microneedling:
With the use of a needle roller suited for home-based application, the top layer of the skin is limbered. This enables, for example, hyaluronic acid serum to deeply infiltrate the skin. The treatment does not require pain relief.
Optimal treatment results are achieved by the combination of medical and subsequent cosmetic microneedling along with supplementary treatments like mesotherapy, chemical peelings and treatment with filler.
An improvement can usually be seen after the first treatment. Treatment intervals of 6-8 weeks are recommended.
